Heather O'Cain, BluKatDesign

Heather has been making jewelry for over 30 years and has been a professional designer of high-end modern gold and platinum jewelry in Seattle since 1983. She studied jewelry design under Ron Ho and has received awards for her art jewelry, including an award from the Pacific Northwest Arts and Crafts Exhibition for a copper repousse neckpiece. She hand-carved wax models for many years and the past few years she has been designing jewelry using CAD/CAM. For fun, she likes to make unique statement and everyday jewelry with upcycled vintage jewelry & everyday parts like bobby pins and sells them online at her shop BluKatDesign on Etsy. She also has a love for dollhouse miniatures, painting, and other crafts.
