This is a switch from the bracelets with beads and is inexpensive to make as the string and hexnuts are not that much and will not cost anything if you have some laying aroung. They will be perfect for a teen too and they can make their own. You can use silver instead of the gold and use some bright colors of macrame cord. Simple to do.
