"Bum bum buh, Glitter Bugs. You put the boom-boom into my heart." The Glitter Bugs are so adorable that they'll make your heart smile the whole time you're crafting them. These bug crafts for kids are affordable, since they use recycled jar lids, and they're really simple to make, too. You will have so much fun, and you'll love making each of your cute crawlers a different glimmering color. You couldn't dare call them creepy! For the most fashionable bugs around, convert trash into treasure and make shimmering spiders.

  3. While paint is still wet, position two goggly eyes on each lid. Allow paint to dry completely.

  4. Cut pipe cleaners into thirds. Turn lids over and hot glue pipe cleaners to the inside of the lid for the legs. You can bend them so that the legs are straight out to the sides or erect.
