Papercraft Narwhal

First, you’ll start by choosing two different shades of the same colored construction paper for the narwhal’s body. Then choose a pink piece of construction paper for the blush patterns. Also, select a golden piece of construction paper for the horn.

Once you have all of the sheets of paper, begin tracing from the provided template. Trace the body base and side fins on one of the two shades chosen at the beginning. Then trace the narwhal’s belly on the other shade chosen at the beginning. Trace the blush pattern on the pink sheet of construction paper. Finally, trace the horn on the golden sheet of paper.

Cut out all of the pieces from the construction paper. Cut the eye pattern directly from the template.

Begin gluing by attaching the narwhal’s belly along the bottom edge of the body’s base cutout.

Next, glue the side fins on both sides of the body base pattern.

Create the face of the narwhal by gluing the eye and blush cutouts near the top end of the narwhal’s body.

Finally, glue the horn cutout near the top-middle of the narwhal’s head. Use a black sharpie to draw the mouth of the papercraft narwhal.
