When it comes to garbage in the house, we pretty much recycle just about everything. However, when in the upstairs bathroom and we finish a roll of toilet paper, that gets tossed. I know, that's not environmentally friends, and now that I have a copy of 51 Things to Make with Cardboard Tubes, I will certainly be keeping all those rolls.

First and foremost, what I really like about this book is the front and back cover; both are made of a sturdy, thick cardboard that will help maintain the book. Once you open the book you will be greeted with 51 adorable things to make with cardboard tubes. Each project can be as creative as you want it to be with the help of household items like toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, felt, googly eyes, straws and even those poppers that come with packages that are tightly packed.

What might you find in this awesome book for kids? Everything from rockets and tractors, to snacks and crocodiles, to all kinds of birds and insects; you'll even find an airplane, a castle and an awesome snail with a spiraled cardboard tube. All of the fun animals and objects are a great way to let the kids get creative with the things you have in the house.

The easy step-by-step instructions and colorful photos allow you and the kids to make these projects in no time. You'll find it fascinating to see facts about recycling and even more fascinating to see what can be made out of such recyclables.

If the kids get cabin fever in the winter or you're sitting inside on a rainy day, 51 Things to Make with Cardboard Tubes is the perfect getaway that will keep them busy for hours...and you'll get a nice little break, too.
