Easter Cross Craft

By: Tara Holtz from Homeschool Preschool
Easter Cross Craft

"Our Easter cross craft is a beautiful way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We begin with colorful construction paper, scissors, glue, and a large sheet of paper for our background. First, we create the cross by cutting two strips of construction paper and gluing them together. Brown symbolizes Jesus's cross, while brighter colors represent the joy of Easter. Next, we decorate the background with thin strips of colorful construction paper, representing the joy of the resurrection and the promise of new life. We can arrange the strips randomly or in a structured pattern. Finally, we glue the cross onto our colorful background. The cross, a symbol of sacrifice and love, stands out against the vibrant backdrop representing Christ's triumph over death. This beautiful craft is a lasting reminder of the true meaning of Easter, perfect for display and contemplation."
