Turkey Craft made from Recycled Materials

Materials List

  • Baby Food Jar: Empty & Dry
  • Cereal Box
  • Washable Paint
  • Googly Eyes
  • Ribbon
  • Hot Glue Gun & Glue
  • Scissors
  • Sponge Paint Brush

Instructions

  1. Turn baby food jar upside down and paint brown. Using sponge paint brush, blot on to create textured, feather look. Let dry. Apply second coat if necessary.

  2. Cut out feathers from cereal box. (Printable Template available on Blog)

  3. Paint feathers desired colors. Let dry.

  4. Glue eyes onto upside down jar.

  5. Paint on beak.

  6. Glue on Ribbon.

  7. Glue on feathers. Make sure to glue high enough that the car can sit flat on a mantle or table.
