Instructions

  1. Select different bright and fun colored craft papers for the pirate story puppets. Let’s start with the pirate puppet craft. Trace the pirate template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out nicely. The template includes, hat, skull sign, head, beard, mustache, eye-patch, shirt, sleeves, trouser, boot, hands and peg leg.

  2. Attach the hand cutouts on the short ends of the sleeve cutouts, attach the beard and mustache cutout on the head cutout and attach the trouser cutout on the bottom side of the shirt cutout.

  3. Attach the boot cutout and the peg leg cutout on the bottom ends of the trouser pattern.

  4. We used a sharpie to draw stripes on the shirt pattern. Attach the sleeve patterns on both sides of the short.

  5. Attach the head cutout on the top side of the shirt pattern.

  6. Attach the eye-patch on the head and use a pen to draw the eye, nose and mouth of the pirate paper puppet.
