Simple and Sweet Yarn Dolls
Simple and Sweet Yarn Dolls

Use your scraps to make yarn crafts for kids. The amount of leftover yarn you have will determine the size of your Simple and Sweet Yarn Dolls. These cuties are soft as can be, so they're the perfect gift for newborn babies or toddlers. If your chlid wants to make a gift for their little sister's birthday, help them make her one of these sweet dolls and watch her face light up. She'll carry her gift with her everywhere she goes. Art projects for children don't have to cost a lot to be worthwhile, and if you have extra yarn lying around your house, this craft is free. Once your kids see how much fun it is to make new toy, they'll definitely want to make more.

Boy does this bring back memories of my younger years. I remember making these yarn dolls. Do you? I forgot about them over the years. Let's give them a comebaack and make some for those grandkids. They can be used as they are and hung for a decoratio, or used on a package,as a pin, on hats, socks (made smaller) or just for looks. Super easy and you can use leftover yarn. Great for kids to make themselves too. Great tutorial.

I also think they would be adorable with crochet baby patterns. I think I will make one to put on a hat I have crocheted for my grandson.

I know this is a craft for kids but it is also a great project for anyone who works with yarn. As a crocheter, I always have extra small balls of different colored yarn. Thanks for this project. This pattern will be great to go along with my crochet baby patterns.

Cute!!!!
