This is a really cute idea, not just for kids, but for adults too. I'm thinking of doing one for my sewing room. I think the white on white is pretty, but I am wondering whether contrasting buttons, like white buttons on black, would also be cute. Has anyone tried that?

I like the simplicity of this frame. I am going to make it for my nephew's wedding. Their wedding photos will look great in this frame and it will look lovely in their new home. This will fit well with the style of their decor. I think I'll make one in beachy colors for myself.

This is a neat crafting idea! Using all white buttons gives a tidy uniform effect. It actually lets you see the various shapes and sizes of the buttons better. You could add more buttons and arrange them in layers, creating a more substantial and three dimensional efect.
