Kids can go green for spring this Mother's Day with these DIY Tin Can Flowers. A lovely garden craft for kids, these tin can flowers are a beautiful way to decorate Mom's flower bed this spring. Kids can paint these charming garden gifts in Mom's favorite colors or model them after Mommy's favorite flower. Made from recycled materials, this DIY Mother's Day gift is more than just a pretty face. Fill the center of the flower with birdseed for an adorable (and squirrel-proof) bird feeder. While kids will need adult help for cutting the tin cans, they can paint the flower petals all by themselves. This craft for kids is the ultimate way to shower Mom in spring flowers this Mother's Day.

This is a really pretty garden craft. The birds as well squirrels in my back yard would love it too. I would be concerned about the sharp edges when handling these cans. A pair of leather gloves should take care of that concern.
