I was looking online at places that sold butterfly feeders and they were not what I wanted or too expensive and then I came across this tutorial and this will work for me. I love that I can use things I already have so I can recycle a big bonus. This Glass jar decorated is so pretty too. This is a good idea to make my own so I can decorate they way I want. I think I will make more than one. Will the cotton ball not the necter out? What else can be used?

What a cute and so simple concept! Since I have to rebuild a garden someday, this will at least cheer me up until then ) Thanks for the cute craft idea!

Just put one together, it is really sturdy. I may use a soft, thick rope for the cotton ball. It may hold up longer. I'm ready to share with the Scout Troop. Thanks

If you look just left of the photo, there is a green underlined link which will take you to the page where the directions are. They are about mid-way down the page. Hope that helps :))

Would be nice if it actually told you how to make it!

There is a link right next to the photo to the left, it says " Click here for the kids craft project "
