Such a fun idea! I could see an option of using metallic paint or even glow in the dark paint for a really neat look. Or take a paper lace doily and spray a pattern on top of the shell. Another option could be to glue a little plastic pearl inside. Make a bunch of these and string them onto fishline to make a beachy garland for the mantle the kids can take pride in. Great idea, thanks for sharing!

Kids love finding seashells on the beach. What a great activity for a warm summer day or when you're on vacation.

This is such a great idea - I would have never thought of painting seashells! It is a great indoor activity to do with the kids on a rainy day while on vacation or once home after a vacation! The different colored seashells will look very nice in a tall vase or a mason jar!
