Materials:

  • One 9” wide white economy paper plate
  • Yellow tissue paper
  • Acrylic paint in the following two colors: flesh and pink
  • One pair of googly eyes with a diameter of 30mm
  • Red and black colored felt-tip pens
  • Self adhesive A4 magnetic sheet
  • Sponge
  • Quick-drying craft glue
  • Standard scissors
  • Zig zag scissors
  • Sheet of newspaper

Instructions:

1. Use the sponge to give the round inner center of the plate a wash with the flesh acrylic paint. Remember not to use too much paint when using a sponge, as this will cause the paint to smudge. Remove excess paint by dabbing it on a sheet of newspaper before applying the sponge. Allow the plate to dry thoroughly.
