Your kids will be delighted by the unexpected materials that they will get to use to create the most popular character in Frozen. Snowman crafts are always fun around the holiday season, but Olaf the Snowman crafts are even better! The great thing about this awesome craft idea is that it comes with a free printable. Your little ones can print out the template and get to crafting as soon as possible. You can make Olaf big or small depending on what size sock you use, and it's an excuse to use the socks that just don't have a partner anymore. I have got to make this with or for my three year old granddaughter. She loves Olaf and the princesses. Wouldn't this make a cute tree ornament too? His facial features are really cute. I am pleased that this is a soft and cuddly craft. I think it would also be cute made with pompoms but this sock idea is my favorite.

Sarah, of Repeat Crafter Me had a similar sock snowman tutorial, but I must say I just adore the little Olaf face. These are perfect little favors for a Frozen themed birthday, but would also be a perfect winter party craft, especially since I gave yet to meet a child who doesn't love Olaf.

Wow, this looks exactly like e character in the film and really evokes such a smile! This would be such a wonderful project for a classroom, scout troop, daycare or church group for kids! Have a grandma day making these with the grandkids and use for ornaments on the tree. I could see making a larger one for a toy using an old white soft t-shirt and stuff with fiberfill and use white yarn pompoms instead of the cotton balls, so it would hold up to the hugs!

So cute for a small afternon project. We may even have these materials in the house. Kids will love this.

Oh WOW I love this cute Olaf sock snowman. I want to build this snowman and I do not know very many kids that will not. Great idea to use up the socks with no mates and I have many and for those who do not I know you can buy them at the dollar store. Cannot wait to make them. I am going to have grand kids make them for the teachers to put on their desk and also some for me.

Too cute! Whenever I see Olaf's goofy face, I can't help but smile. Thanks for the great idea!

Everything about this craft was fun and easy to do with kids, plus they loved the finished product. It actually looks like the picture!

Lovely idea with a sock that has no partner. But of course it needs to be white.

This is so cute! It's perfect for that one sock that inexplicably doesn't have a match.

My daughter loves Olaf, so I was so excited to see this. It's super easy and she can practically make it herself.

Easy to do! My childs 2nd grade class loved the project!

Thanks so much for sharing my project! I was so excited to see it here. Of course, I give the project a 5. I'm the one who made it, so it worked great for me. I hope it works well for everyone else, too!
