DIY Princess Leia Costume Idea

Your daughter can be a ruling figure of a galaxy far, far away with this easy DIY Princess Leia Costume Idea. The beauty of this homemade Halloween costume is that you don't need much material to make it become a reality. You can use a simple white dress or robe and some stretchy sequin material for the belt, which can be found at any craft store. What really makes this costume, though, is Leia's signature double-bun hair style which will be easy to recreate. Throw in a light saber and a trick-or-treat bag, and your daughter will be ready to show off her awesome new costume to her friends and the neighbors.

Okay star wars fans you want to dress your daughter or granddaughter as Princess Leia but do not want to pay a lot then you must see this tutorial. So simple and easy and I love how the bloggers tell how she does the hairstyle. Wow never realized it would be so easy. And for those who sew why not just make a simple white robe and the dollar store has the swords.

This is one of the better Leia costumes I've seen for kids. I love that it's so empowering by having her use a light saber!
