Painted Jack o Lantern Treat Bags

Painted Jack o Lantern Treat Bags

Materials:

  • Paper lunch bags
  • Orange craft paint
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Green tissue paper
  • Twine
  • Hole puncher
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick

Instructions:

  1. Paint the bags with orange paint and allow them to dry completely.

  2. Cut facial features from scrapbook paper.

  3. Attach facial features using a glue stick and allow to dry.

  4. Fill with party treats, add some green tissue paper and punch a hole at the top of the bag. Carefully tie a piece of twine through the hole as a finishing touch!

I am going to make these treat bags for Halloween this year. Brown paper bags are cheap, but after they are decorated you wouldn't even know that was used for these. And they have enough room for tons of Halloween party favors. But, they are so easy to make that even the kids can help with them or they could make their own.
