DIY Disney Advent Calendar
"Advent calendars are a wonderful way to involve your family in counting down the days to Christmas! Materials List
- Sheets of 8.5" x 11" Printer Paper
- Sheet of Poster Board (22" x 28")
- Red and Green Colored Ribbon, Hemp or Twine
- Large Picture Frame Able to Fit Poster Board
- 25 Miniature Clothes Pins
- Scissors or Paper Cutter
- Hot Glue
- (Optional) Holiday Decor
Instructions

Download and print the Advent calendar pages.

Use a pair of scissors or another paper cutting device to cut out each of the number cards and illustrated cards. (Do your best to keep the numbers paired with the correct illustration!)

Prepare your Advent calendar format. (The below instructions will apply for those that want the calendar look like the one in our photo, but feel free to style your calendar in your own way too.)

Cut 5 lengths of ribbon (or hemp/twine) to fit inside the photo frame and glue the ends to the back of the frame.

Take the sheet of poster board and hot glue it to the back of the picture frame.

Use mini clothespins and hang the paired number cards and illustrations in rows of 5 along the ribbons. Feel free to simply hang the cards, or attach the front and back pieces with a little glue or tape along the top if you wish.

(Optional) Decorate the frame by adding bows, decorative branches and other holiday decor as desired.

Each day in December, either remove or flip back the number card to reveal the illustration, and re-hang them on the calendar.
