Have your kids help you decorate with some Cupcake Wrapper DIY Paper Flowers. This paper craft project will show you how to make paper flowers out of a common baking material. If your family is looking to cut back on calories, cupcake wrapper flowers are awesome DIY kids' crafts to make instead of sugary desserts. These DIY paper flowers would make a pretty centerpiece for your dining room table or for your living room mantel. Bright and colorful, a bouquet of paper flowers would also be a great decoration for a little girl's room.

Materials List

  • Cupcake wrappers of different sizes and colors
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Stapler
  • Paper straw
  • Container for the flowers

Instructions

  1. Fold a green cupcake wrapper into fourths.

  2. Cut a slit into the wrapper and slide in a paper straw.

  3. Stack up three or four wrappers and staple it in the middle.

  4. Scrunch them up to create the flower.

  5. Glue to the straw.

  6. Create several and trim the straws to different lengths.

  7. Put the flowers in the container.
