Long ago in a galaxy far, far away there is a child hoping and dreaming to one day create their very own Pool Noodle Lightsaber DIY Craft. Well, good news for all of you Star Wars fans! You don't have to go and drop tons of money on Star Wars themed toys now because you can create your own at home! This pool noodle craft is insanely easy to make, and way more inexpensive than buying some at the store. Plus, this DIY craft is far more durable than anything you could buy at the store, allowing your kid to play with it for hours!

  • Pool Noodles: red for Darth Vader and Darth Maul and green for Luke Skywalker and blue Anakin Skywalker (one noodle makes two lightsabers).
  • Black Duct Tape
  • Silver Duct Tape
  • Craft Knife
  • Scissors

Pool Noodle Lightsabers

DIY Lightsaber insturctions

  1. Cut your pool noodle in half.

  2. Wrap silver and black duct tape around the bottom of the pool noodle. Use a picture for reference on what design you should use. 

  3. Challenge your friends to a lightsaber battle!
