Colorful Paper Plate Birds
Recycled crafts for kids like these Colorful Paper Plate Birds are a great way to use up that extra paper dishware or cardboard around your house. On top of being all the rage right now, green crafts double as educational crafts for kids, since kids will learn new ways to use up their paper plates. Colorful Paper Plate Birds are a charming kids' craft for spring, but your little ones can make them at any time of the year. These adorable animal crafts are great for younger children or large groups, too.

I like to keep a few supplies for fun projects for the grandkids when we go camping. You never know when it is going to rain! Paper plate projects are a great choice and these would be fun. We can use them to decorate the picnic table. We can talk about our color choices - red for the cardinal, yellow and black for gold finches, blue for bluebirds. It doesn't hurt to sneak in some education.

Cute birds for kids to make. I think I like the idea of recycling old cardboard from cereal boxes or tissue paper for making this project. This means the circles will be of different sizes and so will the birds! Maybe the kids can make a family of birds - some big ones and some small ones!
