Poofy Pom Pom Snowman

If it's a bit too chilly outside to make a snow friend, craft a snowman inside instead. The Poofy Pom Pom Snowman looks a lot like a real snowman, but it's warmer and cozier, and you will be too. This snowman kids' craft is really easy to make, and it's a ton of fun. The snowmen look adorable when finished, and even though their bases are Styrofoam and a foam cup, they are soft enough to cuddle with. Cuddling with a snowman! Imagine that. With this craft from Amanda Formaro, your snowman decoration won't disappear. Not only is he not made of real snow, but he's also weighed down with marbles, so your Frosty isn't going anywhere. What a great friend!

  3. When the shell of your snowman is dry, turn upside down and hot glue flat marbles around the inside rim of the foam cup. This will give the bottom of your snowman some weight so that he doesn't fall over.

  4. Using white craft glue, cover the entire snowman shell with white pom poms.

  5. Grab your felt strip and carefully pull on both ends to stretch its length. Be careful not to pull too hard or it will split in half. Fringe the ends with scissors and wrap around the snowman's neck, securing with white glue.

  6. Glue pom poms on to face (orange for nose, pink for cheeks, black for mouth and eyes). Glue green pom poms on as buttons.

  7. Bend pipe cleaner in half and twist it together Bend the ends to shorten the pipe cleaner and hot glue the red pom poms to the ends of the pipe cleaner to create ear muffs. Glue to the top of the snowman's head.
