Batman and Superman Decorated Boxes
Do your boys have a pile of comics laying around? If so, get them into the craft room and have them make these fun Batman and Superman Decorated Boxes. They will have fun getting a little messy while working with their favorite superheroes to decoupage small craft boxes. This is a great way for the boys to keep their favorite scenes, and when they are done, they will have fabulous little boxes to store away little trinkets or to give as gifts. Of course, they don't have to use just Batman and Superman, but they are two of the best superheroes out there.

Materials:
- Papier mache boxes with lids
- Black paint
- Batman and Superman comic books
- Mod Podge or other decoupage medium
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pen or pencil
Instructions:
- Paint the boxes black. Set aside to dry.
- Cut out sections of comic books that you want to use. Use the lid from your container to trace around the comic book page you want to be on the lid. Cut it out, but cut it about 1/4-inch smaller than your tracing lines.
- Apply a thin layer of decoupage to the back of the comics and let dry for five minutes.
- When placing the comics onto the painted boxes, apply some Mod Podge to the center of the comics and press out any air bubbles. Work your way outward from the center, adding more Mod Podge to attach the rest of the comic.
- Allow the comics to dry on the surface for about 20 minutes.
- Cover the entire surface of the box with a generous, but not dripping, amount of Mod Podge. Let dry completely before placing the lid on the container.
