By: Jaclyn Holtzman, Editor,

Handprint OwlsKids probably hear their relatives say, "They grow up so fast" all the time. Adults like to savor your child's younger years and remember the days when they were teeny tiny. Help make the family happy by preserving your child's prints all while making adorable art projects. Handprint art is popular because your little ones' five fingers and palm are so versatile. Imagine that! Their best crafting material is on their body. Handprints can double as whiskers, wings, beards, and birthday cakes. They can get even more variety by using just their fingers, their thumb, or even their footprints. The opportunities are literally endless when kids use themselves to craft.

Handprint art makes great gifts, especially for those relatives who want a record of how much their little grandkids have grown. Make Grandma a different handprint art project for every occasion and she'll have an accurate file of your child's growth. When you see the variety that is offered in 57 Handprint Art, Fingerprint Art, and Footprint Art Projects, you'll realize how many different projects your child's hands can be used for. Did you know that their footprint can look exactly like a butterfly's wings or that their thumbprint is perfect for painting corn kernels? Explore this list to get your kids' imagination working.

The great thing about Handprint art projects is that even the littlest family members can participate. From one to one hundred, these projects are engaging and fun for everyone. They're also budget friendly, a lot of the time only requiring you, some paint, and a piece of paper! Amongst the homemade gifts, Christmas crafts for kids, fall crafts for kids, and animal crafts, you're sure to find the perfect project for your little ones.
