Quit spending the big bucks on art supplies when you can make Homemade Modeling Clay. Your piggy bank wants to stay full, and he can when you make your own clay with only two ingredients. This recipe is so incredibly easy that even toddlers can make it and then sculpt a gallery-worthy piece. This awesome home made modeling clay can be put in the oven to set just like store-bought clay, or you can let it air dry for a kid-friendly method. Art projects for kids don't have to be expensive, and this amazing tutorial proves that. You will never be scared off when you see the word clay again because now you know that you can make clay crafts for nothing.

I was never really a fan of modeling clays but this I want to try for my kids.

Really! Just cornstarch and water makes molding clay. I want to make some jewelry so will this work as good as polymer clay? I like that you can use food coloring to make it a color too. I will need to try this and then let the grandkids make things for gifts. Thanks.

We used to make this in school when I was a child. It was a lot of fun. We made cups and bowls for our parents for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. It is easy to work with. It can be air dried, or oven dried. And it is easy to paint or glaze afterward.

My kids ask to make this every few weeks! We love it and have a blast creating with it. Great tutorial.
