We know that coloring helps reduce stress in adults, but I bet if we put it to the test it would reduce stress for kids as well. If not that, it can help them sit still and concentrate for a period of time. Adult coloring books have been the newest craze, but kids can enjoy them, too. The Just Add Color Arboretum book is great for kids to practice staying in the lines and allow their creative side to come to life.
For those who love art and design, you'll love this coloring book. With 30 original designs from Lisa Congdon, you and the kids will love coloring the forests and plants within the book. Each of her books consists of 64 perforated pages to make it easy to tear out, frame and hang on your walls.
The content in Just Add Color Arboretum is great for kids as there are a lot of larger shapes to color in; the pages are nice and thick, too. With a high-end quality paper and only single-sided designs you don't have to worry about kids ripping the page from coloring too hard or colors bleeding through.
The book provides 4 full-color images that are ready to be framed and hung, or you can use them for inspiration in coloring your own pages. What you'll enjoy most is that you can use any coloring utensils to design your piece of art. Colored pencils, gel pens, twist crayons and even paints can be used.
More of what you'll see as you turn the pages are trees, gardens, animals, leaves and so much more. Kids and adults alike will truly enjoy this coloring book. If you’re a beginner or have tiny toddler hands then this is the perfect coloring book to start out with.
